We specialize in all residential and small commercial projects, and can handle all of your excavating and demolition needs — whether you are building a new structure or deconstructing an old one. With over 60 years of combined experience, our key team members and newer, well-maintained equipment mean we can get your job done efficiently, on time, and on budget.
General Excavation
We are a full-service excavation contractor. We provide site work services for new residential subdivisions or small commercial projects. This can often include clearing and grubbing the site free of vegetation, earth moving/grading, sanitary and storm sewer installation, and road building.
Capabilities
Site Preparation Services:
- Clearing and Grubbing: We can clear you lot of unwanted vegetation and trees
- Grading and earthwork: We have the capability to move, add or remove soil from your property to make your lot more usable.
- Utility installation: We can install sanitary and storm sewer mainline systems, including manholes and catch basins. We also install raindrains, drywells and sewer connections for new homes.
- Road Building: We excavate for and install the gravel road base for rural driveway or urban subdivision
- Hauling: We own our own dump trucks to allow us to import and export material conveniently and efficiently.
Demolition
We are able to demolish or deconstruct most buildings. And we strive to reuse or recycle as much material as possible — also working with organizations like Habitat for Humanity to salvage and reuse any suitable items.
Capabilities
Residential and commercial buildings less than three stories tall. We are most often called on to remove wood-framed structures, but can demolish concrete and metal-framed structures as well. See Warehouse Deconstruction Case Study
Landscape Renovation
Our specialty is helping homeowners transform their outdoor living spaces. We have years of experience working with well-known landscape architects to provide the groundwork for the yard of your dreams. These projects often require some demolition of existing hardscape and earthwork; excavation for driveways, walkways, and retaining walls; and construction of boulder retaining walls. These projects often present unique challenges, such as limited equipment access or confined work spaces. But our team has the know-how and creativity to address these issues. Our excavators are equipped with Helac “Wrist-O-Twist” that allow the operator to cut and shape complex slopes and swales.
